Seoul and Beijing

Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Seoul
Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, transfer to hotel in Seoul. The remainder of the day is for leisure.

Day 2: Seoul
Full-day tour of Seoul includes a visit to Gyeongbok Palace which served as the residence and office of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), the last empire of Korea; TheNational Folk Museum, a collection of cultural and historical arts of Korea; The Jogyesa Buddhist temple, headquarters of Jogyejong, which is leading sect of Korean Buddhism; Insadong Alley, the street of Korean fine arts and antiques ; and Sinchon, home to a number of private universities, earning the area its nickname “University Streets of Sinchon” is a shopper’s paradise, offering a wide range of styles and prices. The collection of trendy stores, bars, and delicious cuisine draws out college students and other freethinkers year-round.

Day 3: Seoul/ Beijing
Transfer to Incheon International Airport and leave for Beijing, China. Upon arrival at Beijing airport, we will meet a tour guide and move to Beijing for a city tour. The city tour includes the Capital Museum, an exhibition of the historical remains, buildings, and cultural heritage of Bejing and Wangfujing District, the busiest shopping street of the city.

Day 4: Beijing
Morning tour starts from Tiananmen Square which displays grand buildings such as Tiananmen Gate, People’s Hero Monument, the Great Hall of People, Chairman Mao’s Monument, and the National Museum of China. In the afternoon, people will visit Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The palace complex has 9,999 rooms.

Day 5: Beijing
The highlight of the tour is the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The wall was constructed during the Qin Shi Huang era of the Qin dynasty. We will take a cable car to see a panoramic view of the Great Wall built in 220 B.C. After returning to the city, we will visit Yiheyuan Park, the emperor’s summer palace, and Beijing Olympic Stadium. An optional night tour will be the “Grand China Show” which is a Chinese musical dance dinner show.

Day 6: Depart Beijing
Transfer to Beijing Airport
